This article details steps on how to scrutinize the applications received. This is a guide to be use by the HM for assessing a prospective candidate.

Assessment is the first stage of the recruitment process. Here are the steps to be completed in this stage:

Step 1 : Leads creation in CRM

In this step, once a new card is added on the Analysis.Doing list in the People Pipeline board, the archiver will automatically create a new lead in the CRM. All the basic information such as, but not limited to, email and contact number will be entered into the CRM. The HM’s task is to make sure the candidate was successfully added as a lead in CRM.

Step 2 : Review online evaluation result

The application form consists of an online evaluation that the candidate should complete. The score will be posted in the card’s description automatically. Passing rate is 80% or 20 correct answers out of 25 questions.

Step 3 : Background check request

Request will be initialized and sent to OS. Card is copied to tos.epi.run   and background check will be performed by OS. Here is a guide for the background check process spcbc.epi.run   .

Step 4 : Review of OS analysis

The background check performed by OS will be reviewed by the HM. Decision on whether to continue with the candidate’s application relies on the result of the background analysis. Here is a guide for the background check process spcbc.epi.run   .

Step 5 : Review requirements

The HM should review the basic information of the candidate that shows in the card’s description. The candidate must pass each requirement below:

  1. Must be of legal age to work.
  2. Must have a good internet speed (not lower than 5 MBPS).
  3. Minimum computer requirement: computer processor is at least Intel Core i5 or equivalent, with 16GB RAM.
  4. Educational attainment: depends on the job role application of the new candidate.
  5. Video: Check the quality of the video the prospective candidate sent. This is a nice way to verify their system requirements because a good video means good internet speed and computer specifications.

Step 6: Review job role description

In this step, HM should review role’s job description and to make sure the candidate matches the required skill set. Job descriptions for each role can be found in this article.

Step 7 : Provide a recommendation

Based on the data gathered, the HM should decide if the new candidate passed or failed the assessment. HM can put in additional notes or remarks on the activity section in the trello card, if needed.
